Bayon Temple is known as the exact central temple in the Angkor Thom Temple complex; this temple is very special with many great towers and stone faces that are very skilled and magically crafted.

Exploring Bayon Temple gives you a better understanding of Jayavarman VII and why he built this temple… There are different tombs inside the Bayon Temple that are not found anywhere else in the Angkor Temples.

If Angkor Wat Temple and Ta Prohm Temple are two temples you should not miss visiting in the Angkor Temple Complex, Bayon Temple is the third. This temple is one of the third temples in the Angkor Temple Complex that is very valuable for you to explore, and it is also the temple where a part made for the Angkor Temple Complex is very famous so far.

Opposite the Bayon Temple is the Elephants Terrace Temple, which is also well-known for its large number of elephant stone statues. These elephant stone statues are very large and impressive, and many of them are larger than a large real elephant.

From Bayon Temple, proceed straight to the south gate of Angkor Thom Temple, which is famous for two lines of human status holding large two snakes. These two lines of status are distinguished by their size and length. If you have been to the Angkor Temple Complex, Bayon Temple should not be missed on your visit to this area.
