Activities :

When you arrive in Phnom Penh, our driver and tour guide will meet you at the airport and transport you to the hotel for check-in. This afternoon, we take a half-day city tour of Phnom Penh, visiting the Victory Monument, the National Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda, which is located in the Royal Palace. Our next stop will be Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh’s namesake, from which we can enjoy a sunset view of the city’s tree-lined avenues. Tonight is our welcome dinner at a fine restaurant in Phnom Penh’s center. Return you to your hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh at a hotel

Phnom Penh – Fly to Siem Reap – Angkor Temple Complex Tour - Dinner with Apsara show

Activities :

After breakfast at the hotel, you are met and transferred to the airport to catch our short flight to Siem Reap; upon arrival, you are met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Before visiting Ta Prohm and Ta Keo, we will have lunch at a local traditional restaurant in Siem Reap’s center. First, we visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has remained relatively untouched since its discovery, retaining much of its enigma. Continue your visit to Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang (“The Royal Baths”), to see the unique interior brick sculptures, Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Ta Keo (built in the late 10th and early 11th centuries CE), the first temple built entirely of sandstone, and we will enjoy the sunset at Phnom Bakheng hill temple in the late afternoon. Transfer you back to your hotel and relax until our tour guide and driver return to pick you up for our welcome dinner with the Apsara show in a Siem Reap local restaurant. Return to your hotel in Siem Reap for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our journey by visiting the rest of the Angkor Group’s main sites. We visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its massive statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, which is unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Leper King Terrace. We eat lunch at a local restaurant near the Angkor Temple Complex before heading to the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex is 81 hectares in size, comparable to Beijing’s Imperial Palace. Its distinctive five towers are depicted on the Cambodian flag, and art historians regard the 12th-century masterpiece as the pinnacle of classical Khmer art and architecture. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart around 8 a.m. for Tonle Sap Lake, which is still considered Asia’s largest lake or “great lake.” We take a boat ride around the lake to see and experience the daily lives of the people who live in the lake’s floating villages. This boat trip concludes with a transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
