Nho Que River flows from Nghiem Son Mountain (Van Nam, China) to Dong Van and Meo Vac Districts of Ha Giang before joining the Gam River in Cao Bang’s Bao Lam District. The Nho Que River is 192 kilometers long in total, but the section in Vietnam is not very long (about 46km). This river flows through Tu San Canyon and Ma Pi Leng Pass in Meo Vac District, Ha Giang, 15 kilometers from Lung Cu.

There are sections of the Nho Que River that run through rugged rock layers, forming a lot of white rapids in the valley. Water flows smoothly and poetically in other sections. How to travel to the Nho Que River?

Tourists can take a night bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang, then a local bus from Ha Giang to Meo Vac, or can take a bus directly from Hanoi to Meo Vac through the Ha Giang center. The Nho Que River is about 30 kilometers from the center of Meo Vac.

The distance between Hanoi and Ha Giang is approximately 300 kilometers, and the distance between Ha Giang and Meo Vac is approximately 170 kilometers, for a total distance of approximately 470 kilometers. You will pass through Dong Van district, a well-known upland district of Ha Giang, and Ma Pi Leng pass, one of the most beautiful passes in Vietnam, on your way from Ha Giang to Nho Que River.
