Toul Sleng Genocide Museum ▸ National Museum ▸ Royal Palace ▸ Silver Pagoda
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in. This afternoon, we explore Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia, including the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), and the National Museum, which was built in 1917-18 and is solely dedicated to Khmer arts, the Royal Palace was built in 1866, and the Silver Pagoda is located within the Royal Palace compound, Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda, stands on a hill. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Breakfast at the hotel, then we leave Phnom Penh for Siem Reap by the local bus (airfare is arranged instead upon request), it takes about 6 hours by bus, or a 1-hour flight. Upon arrival at Siem Reap Bus Station or Siem Reap Airport, you will be met and transferred directly to your hotel for refreshments.
This afternoon, we will visit the most famous temple on the Angkor Plain: Angkor Wat, which is 81 hectares in size, comparable to the Imperial Palace in Beijing, its distinctive five towers are depicted on the Cambodian flag, and art historians regard the 12th-century masterpiece as the pinnacle of classical Khmer art and architecture, the five towers of Angkor Wat represent Meru’s five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world, and the surrounding moat represents the ocean.
This evening, we will enjoy a buffet dinner with the Khmer Dance Show at a local restaurant in Siem Reap town. Transfer you back to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel, then we visit the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm, which is an incredible sight, before heading out to the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century) to see its South Gate with the huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace until transfer you to the airport to catch your flight back home or your next destination.
