Quang Ninh overview
Quang Ninh is a province in Vietnam’s northeastern region. It is approximately 176 kilometers from Hanoi and takes about 3.5 hours by bus. This is regarded as a magnified version of Vietnam since it has all points of interest such as the beach, island, delta, midland border, hills, and mountains.
In particular, this province has a well-known attraction in Halong Bay, which has been classified by UNESCO as one of the world’s seven natural heritage sites, making Halong Bay the most popular destination in both this province and northern Vietnam.

Best time to visit Quang Ninh
It has a typical North Vietnamese climate, with all four seasons. The annual average temperature is around 23°C. Summers are hot, humid, and wet, while winters are frigid and dry.
Storms are expected to pass through this province from June to August so the summer months of March to May, or September to October, may be the best time to visit this province because of the wonderful weather, fewer crowds, lower rates, and exciting activities.
How to travel to Quang Ninh?
It is approximately 200 kilometers from Hanoi, it will take you about 3-3.5 hours to reach there by vehicle, cab, or bus.
