Cham Island (Cu Lao Cham) overview

Cham Island is a part of eight islands, including Hon Lao (Pearl Island), Hon Dai (Long Island), Hon Mo (Tomb Island), Hon Kho Me (Mother Dry Island), Hon Kho Con (Dry Island), Hon La (Leaf island), Hon Tai (Ear island), and Hon Ong (Grandfather island). It is about 21km from Hoi An’s Cua Dai harbor to Cham Island.

Attractions and Activities in Cham Island?

Cham Island is a popular tourist site in the central region of Vietnam, it is about 15 kilometers from Cua Dai Beach in Hoi An, Quang Nam province, and the weather is pleasant all year.

Shrimp, fish, crab, cuttlefish, and other seafood are plentiful and fresh here. Bird’s nests, in particular, are well known for their health benefits.

With the abundant fauna and animals in Cham Island, this place is considered one of the world’s biosphere reserve complexes, especially the highly famous coral, which attracts a lot of tourists who appreciate visiting islands and snorkeling tours in Vietnam.

Take a boat ride on the beach to learn about the island’s historical significance, as the first occupants arrived three thousand years ago.
