Tonle Sap Lake is known as the great lake in Cambodia as well as the biggest lake in Asia, this lake is very special not only because of its own wide but also there are a lot of people living on the boats in this lake, they earn almost by fishing, then sell it to the markets in the land or exchange their products in this lake.

Because there are a lot of people living in this lake so that there are also the schools, hospitals and the small central community to be built in the different areas. The children also go to school everyday as the children live in the land, however it is harder for the local people and children with such floating life because a part of their difficult life is their main transfer vehicle is almost by the boats (the hand and machine boats).

Every year there are a lot of tourists visiting this lake and they also give the local people living here the gifts such as the rice for the families or schools, pens and books for pupils….because the daily life of the local people at here is still very hard.

The best time visit this lake is in the wet season because it is the high water season in this season so that it is easier for you to see everything more really and clearly, but the dry season is also very nice.
