The Minh Mang tomb has an area of 18 hectares, surrounded by a wall enclosing inside 40 monuments, including palaces, temples and pavilions.

Minh Mang Tomb overview

Minh Mang Tomb is one of the relics found in Hue’s old capital relic complex, which was named a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site on February 11, 1993.

The tomb is situated in Huong Tho Community, Huong Tra District, Thua Thien Hue Province. It is around 10 kilometers by bus from Hue, travelers can get there by bus, taxi, or cyclo from the city center.

Minh Mang Tomb’s history and architecture
