Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Phnom Penh arrival – Tour & Dinner with Khmer Dance Show
Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be greeted, picked up, and driven to your hotel to check in. If the time permits, this afternoon, we’ll take a tour of the city’s highlights. First, we will transport you from your hotel to Royal Place, which was built in 1866 by King Norodom, is the most famous site in Phnom Penh, and it is located in the city’s true center, so if you don’t want to take the bus, you can walk from your central hotels to this tourist complex.
Following our admiration for the magnificent structures in the Royal Palace complex, we proceed to the Silver Pagoda, which is so named because its floor contains up to 5000 silver tiles. Then, we will visit one of Cambodia’s most national structures, the National Museum, which is regarded as one of the country’s true architectural gems and pride. The National Museum has been built in the Khmer style since 1917. This evening, we will enjoy our dinner while watching with Khmer Dance Show at the local restaurant in Phnom Penh City.

Day 2: Phnom Penh Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, we will continue exploring Phnom Penh’s highlights, including historical sites that vividly depict the Cambodian war against the Pol Pot regime. First, we go to the Killing Fields, also known as “Choeung Ek” which are about 15 kilometers southwest of Phnom Penh’s center, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, also known as the S21 prison and a historical site where the Pol Pot regime held many people, was once a Cambodian high school, but it was later converted into a prison where many people were interned by the Pol Pot regime (Khmer Rouge), see the small rooms (which used to be classrooms when it was a high school) and images of the prisoners held by Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge.
We had lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of Phnom Penh, where we sampled the city’s local and traditional dishes. Khmer dishes are always the most unique and well-known dishes that visitors to Cambodia should try, it may seem strange and difficult to try with some Western tourists, but it should be done because such dishes are available in only a few countries.

After lunch, we continued our exploration of Phnom Penh with the Russian Market, also known in Cambodia as Psah Tuol Thom Pong, which is the largest and most well-known market, and it is a must-see for any tourist who enjoys shopping while on vacation, this market teaches tourists about many traditional handicrafts made by Phnom Penh residents, as well as a variety of other items such as silver, gold, clothes, T-shirts, antiquities, silk, gems, shawls, shoes, sandals, and souvenirs…., the market also offers a variety of local foods and fresh produce in addition to a variety of goods.
We will proceed from the Russian Market to the Victory Monument, which is located in the center of Phnom Penh’s main roads. Tourists can see the bustling roads with many different vehicles moving on the roads in Phnom Penh City very clearly from this monument, especially in the evening because it is decorated with many different types of lights and lamps.

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Fly to Siem Reap – Angkor Complex Tour
Breakfast at the hotel, then take a short flight to Siem Reap, upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel to check in and be free.
Our first stop this afternoon will be at Ta Prohm Temple, where we will have the opportunity to see the largest and oldest trees that have grown up through the walls of the ancient temples here, as well as the old trees that have existed for hundreds of years, this is a truly magical place that will surprise and delight even the most jaded tourist. After exploring Ta Prohm Temple, the next stop is Neak Pean Temple, which was built in the center of a pool. This ancient temple was symbolic of the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain lake, where you should take the most beautiful photographs at such a sacred location.
Following our exploration of Neak Pean Temple, we continue our exploration of the Angkor Temple Complex by visiting Ta Som Temple, which was built in the late 12th century C.E. and is one of the most ancient temples in the Grand Circuit complex, it is not a large temple, but it is very classic.
This evening, we enjoy a buffet dinner and a performance of the Khmer Traditional Dance Show, which is one of Cambodia’s most famous spiritual symbols, at the local restaurant in Siem Reap town. After dinner, you will be escorted back to your hotel, or you can walk along the night market in Siem Reap town to buy local handicraft souvenirs made by the locals here or to see how crowded and busy a night market can be in such a small town as Siem Reap. Then, accompany you back to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat & Angkor Temples Complex Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, we visit Angkor Thom Temple, an antique capital built in the 12th century, where we can see the South Gate, the Bayon Temple, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King, all of which have large statues and smiling faces that are very beautiful and especially.
We have lunch before heading to the most famous of all temples in this area, Angkor Wat, which is 81 hectares in size and is comparable to the area of the Imperial Palace in Beijing, China. Angkor Wat Temple has five towers and is emblazoned on the Cambodian flag, this great structure has also been the pride of Cambodia since the 12th century. Angkor Wat is not only famous for its unique architecture and history but is also recognized by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural heritage sites, attracting a large number of tourists each year. Then, we view a romantic and beautiful sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng Hill until back hotel.

Day 5: Siem Reap – Angkor Temple Complex Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart around 40 kilometers from Siem Reap to visit the rest sites of the Angkor Temple Complex. First, we go to Banteay Srei Temple, which was built in the 10th century and is typical of the Khmer countryside, is regarded as the jewel in the crown of Classical Khmer Art, here you will see the most ancient temples that have been preserved the most completely in the Angkor Temples Complex and we also trek around a very beautiful and peaceful countryside region of Khmer in Cambodia.
After that, we continue to Banteay Samre, which is still considered the most complete because it was built using the anastylosis method and still looks very original despite being built a long time ago, to learn about the local and the Government of Cambodia’s attitudes toward the country’s ancient structures.
After lunch, we explore the remaining four temples of the Angkor Temple Complex, which are Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang Lake, also known as the Royal Baths, Banteay Kdei, which is surrounded by four concentric walls and see many of the unique interior brick sculptures that have been built since the late 10th and early 11th centuries C.E, particularly Ta Keo Temple, which is the first temple to be constructed entirely of sandstone and is both unique and beautiful. Then, our guide and driver will return you to your hotel.

Day 6: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake “Great Lake” Boat Trip – Departure
Today, we will take an excursion in a traditional wooden boat to explore the floating life of the locals in Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest fresh lake, this is also an ideal place for you to volunteer because almost all of the locals live in Tonle Sap Lake are still very hard and poor, even though there are floating schools, hospitals, houses…After our boat ride, you will be taken directly to the airport to catch your flight back home to your next destination.
