Activities:

Welcome to Mandalay. What’s here? Myanmar’s second-largest city, with a population of one million souls, and the busy economic hub of the top half of Burma, Mandalay has its share of famous sights. We’ll start with a walk down the marble carving street, where thousands of Buddha images are carved.
This afternoon before sunset, we visit the traditional cotton and silk weavers whose ancestors used to weave magnificent robes for royalty, the weaving of silk longyis is so intricate and colorful that they can only complete an inch a day, it is truly amazing, also, at Amarapura, we will visit the famous Mahagandayon monastery, probably the largest Buddhist university in the country where you can witness thousands of monks studying together. At sunset, visit the most picturesque U Bein Bridge on Taungthaman Lake, a half-mile-long teak walkway also known as the longest teak bridge in the world.

Activities:

After breakfast, we will go to Shwe Nandaw Kyaung’s “Golden Palace Monastery” and the “Original Royal Apartment of Grand Mandalay Palace.” Then proceed to The World’s Largest Book, Kuthodaw Pagoda, with 729 stone tables engraved with Buddhist Scriptures, before returning to the hotel to check out and driving straight to the jetty to take a ferry boat to Mingun, 11 kilometers upriver from Mandalay on the western bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River.
Then, after a 45-minute boat ride, we can walk to the Mingun Pagoda, an unfinished pagoda that may have been the largest in Buddhist history, the Mingun Bell, the world’s largest ringing bell, and the Myatheindan Pagoda, the stream then descends to Mandalay, where lunch is arranged on a boat, upon arrival in Mandalay, we will be transferred directly to Mandalay International Airport for our flight to Bagan, upon arrival in Bagan, we will be transferred to your hotel in Bagan to check-in.

Activities:

After breakfast, we visit Nyaung U Market, Sulamani Temple, Shwegugyi Temple, and Minanthu village. Bagan is also famous as the center of Myanmar’s thriving lacquerware industry, so our tour also includes a stop at a local lacquerware workshop to watch the skilled artisans at work on the various stages of production, then travel to Old Bagan for a pony cart tour among the temples, Tayokpye, Htilominlo, and Thatbyinnyu temples before sunset.
This evening, ascend to the top of one of the tall temples, watch the sun sink into distant hills, and experience peaceful, tranquil moments and the indescribable magical power of Bagan.

Day 4:

Bagan – Fly to Heho (a 1hr flight) - Inle Lake Boat Trip

Activities:

This morning, we leave Bagan for Heho on a short flight. Upon arrival, we start the trip to Inle Lake to observe the unique leg-rowing fishermen and their floating gardens made of water hyacinth, bottomed lake weed, marsh, and mud anchored to the bottom of the lake with a bamboo pole, take a break for lunch at a restaurant in Inle Lake.
Afternoon sightseeing will include a visit to the weaving village of Inpawkhone and the Cheroot factory, where traditional Burmese hand-rolled cigars are made. Then proceed to Pahang Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf, followed by a visit to Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha images but is also known as the “Jumping Cats” monastery. Following that, take a tour of Inle’s floating gardens.

Activities:

After breakfast, we will travel to Indein, a hidden corner of Inle Lake that is home to over a thousand Shan-style pagodas, and take a boat ride along the creek on the way to Indein, which has many twists and twists.
Upon arrival in Indein, walk through shady bamboo groves to the ancient pagoda complex, then take a lunch break at a good local restaurant in Indein and transfer back to the boat stand in Nyaung Shwe and proceed to Heho Airport to catch the flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, drive directly back to your hotel.

Yangon Tour - Departure

Activities:

After breakfast, we head to Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s most sacred Buddhist pagoda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments, and the Golden Dome Pagoda where we’ll learn about local customs and beliefs. If time permits, we visit the Kalaywa Tawya Monastery, where over 1000 monks and nuns study Buddhist scriptures as well as modern academic studies.
After that, proceed to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda (the 72-meter-long reclining Buddha Statue) and then drive back to the hotel to check out and take a lunch break at an authentic local restaurant before visiting Yangon’s famous General Aung San Market. Then, stroll through the heart of Yangon City to see the unique colonial buildings constructed in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and drive you directly to Yangon International Airport to fly to your next destination.
