Upon your arrival at the airport in Ho Chi Minh City or still known as Saigon, look for a greeting board with your name, and our tour guide will escort and transfer you to your hotel in the city center. Today, if time permits, you will have a welcome meeting with the salesperson who contacted you directly via email to go over any questions or changes to your itinerary…and IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS, PLEASE ASK HIM/HER THAT DAY…, followed by dinner at a traditional local restaurant in the heart of Saigon

Saigon City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon

Activities:

Breakfast at the hotel. 8 AM pickup to begin a full-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi Tunnels. Pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy and then visit the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975. Notice the  French colonial structures such as Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, and the War Remnant Museum, and continue to the bustling Ben Thanh Market.

Lunch at a local restaurant in Saigon and then explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during their long struggle for independence. Return to Saigon hotel around 5:30 PM for free time. This evening, stroll through the outdoor night market of  Ben Thanh for unique souvenirs and street food.

Saigon – Boat Trip in My Tho & Ben Tre of Mekong River Delta

Activities:

After breakfast, depart for Cau Da port around 8 AM. The first stop is Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island, where many sea species from Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province create a miniature ocean world. Then stop at Mun Island, a great island for snorkeling because of the abundance of colorful coral and fish. You can even see caves where sea swallows build their nests. Then relax, swim, and participate in watersports or other activities at Mot Island, Tranh Beach, or what is still known as “Mini Beach.” Enjoy lunch on the island. Before returning to your hotel, you will stop in a fishing village.

This morning, your driver will take you to the airport for a short flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang, transfer to the hotel in Hoi An for lunch. This afternoon,  take a walking tour of Hoi An’s old town and visit the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, and the vibrant market. On the walking tour, you will see many low-tiled houses scattered along the small streets.

Tour Local Tour Half Day by Cycling - Fishing - Boat - Cooking Class - Hue

Activities:

After breakfast, a short bicycle competency test will be given. For those uncomfortable with a pushbike, then other methods of transport can be arranged. The tour starts by cycling along level ground to the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village. Ride along country lanes viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges and fields of water buffalo…Take a short break with a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying a 30-45 minute ride on a Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the Water Coconut Palm Forest. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time catching fish and “purple crabs” in the canal. Continue biking to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetables are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries.  Have lunch with a local family.
Leave Hoi An for Hue via Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach.

Activities:

Hue is an ancient historical capital city. There are more than 100 architectural works reflecting the life of emperors and mandarins under Nguyen’s reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the southern bank of the Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings.

Pickup at  08:00 AM in the lobby of the hotel. Transfer to the wharf to cruise along the Perfume River to visit:

– Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady pagoda) with a good view of the Perfume River and its surroundings.

– Tu Duc King’s tomb, one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty

Transfer back to the city to lunch at a fine local restaurant. That afternoon, visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City; Tinh Gia Vien Garden house, and Dong Ba market. The tour ends around 06:00 PM. Transfer to hotel in Hue.

Hanoi City Tour – Catch night train to Lao Cai/Sapa

Activities:

A one-day city tour of Hanoi –  drive to Ho Chi Minh, where we will spend a couple of hours visiting: Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum, and one pillar pagoda. Next,  see the Temple of Literature, originally built as a temple to Confucius. It is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.

In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam: the Museum of Ethnology, widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minorities. Next, tour the city by car to see the real life of the Hanoi locals as well as the different parts of the city.

Then enjoy a memorable one-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets. Have your cameras ready! This bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally, the 36 street names were related to the products being sold there.

Before we go back to the hotel, we will have a chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and songs from the live musicians who play throughout the show. Enjoy our dinner at the fine restaurant before escorting you to Lao Cai Railway Station to catch our night train to Lao Cai/ Sapa.

Lao Cai - Sapa - Trek to Lao Chai & Ta Van Village

Activities:

This morning,  arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station around 6 am. After the r=train ride,  the tour guide and driver will transfer you to the hotel in Sapa to check in and have breakfast. Relax until around 11:30 am when the tour guide escorts you to lunch in Sapa town. Next, take a trekking tour to Lao Chai and Ta Van Village via the valley of Muong Hoa. Trek to these two villages to learn about the Black Hmong people, Black Hmong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. They have their own language and wear traditional indigo-blue clothing. Then continue to Ta Van village to visit the Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in northwestern Vietnam. Some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue, or green color. The Zay houses are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. Sapa – Bac Ha Sunday Market – Catch night train back Hanoi

Activities:

After your breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Bac Ha Market. It takes us 2.5 hours driving to get there. This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. In the afternoon we will have a 2-hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people). In the village, we can have a look at their house and understand a little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. In the late afternoon, transfer back to  Lao Cai Railway Station to have dinner before catching a night train back to Hanoi.

Arrival Hanoi – Halong Bay – Cruise & Overnight on a 5-star Cruise Ship

At around 5 AM, the train arrives at Hanoi Railway Station. The tour guide will escort you to the hotel to relax until having breakfast.

12:00 Receptionists welcome guests at the Hạ Long International Harbour.

12:45 Leaving Hạ Long International harbor, discover the Halong Bay – natural wonders of

14:45 Cruises stops at Bo Nau cave, the core area of the world’s natural heritage. Transfer by
tender to Suprise cave – one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.
15:45 Leaving Suprise cave, transfer by tender to the Ti Top island was named by Uncle Ho,
after Gherman Stepanovich Ti Top – the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962 Enjoy
swimming, relaxing on the beach, or climbing the steps of the Rock to the top of the island.

06:00 Morning call (if you request).
06:30 Enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to Luon cave.
07:00 Enjoy a light breakfast in the restaurant.
08:00 Visit Luon cave by kayak, one of the caves open to the form of beautiful endemic vegetation of Halong Bay. Visit Luon cave by a traditionally woven (bamboo) boat
rowed by a local boatman (public ticket 50.000đ/person).
09:00 Then come back to Athena cruise, relax and check out of the cabin. Please put your luggage outside the door. Our porters will collect and get them ready on the Pier for you. Finally, the cruise disembarks from Hạ Long International harbor.
09:30 Check out the cabin. Enjoy the brunch buffet menu served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after brunch (if you have one).
10:45 Transfer by tender back to Hạ Long International Harbour and disembarkation, then the driver picks you up and transfers you to Hanoi airport to catch a short flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. Activities:

We’ll take a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake this morning. This is South East Asia’s largest permanent freshwater lake, and it flows into the Tonle Sap River before joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We’ll see a fishermen’s “floating village” complete with floating schools, a floating police station, and so on. It’s like a large village floating on the lake, and the “village” moves around according to water levels and currents. This afternoon, we take a short flight to Phnom Penh, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check in. The rest period is for you to relax and explore Phnom Penh on your own.

In the morning we start the tour with the Choeung Ek Memorial, then the Silver Pagoda located in the Royal Palace Enclosure, and the Royal Garden, the Silver Pagoda, After that we visit The National Museum, built in the Khmer style in the 1920s has an extensive collection of Khmer art. Before lunch, we also visit Wat Phnom, widely acknowledged as the site of the foundation of Phnom Penh. We have lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon we visit The Tuol Sleng Museum, follow by that we visit the Victory Monument, and the Russian Market.
