Activities:

Pick up from Chiang Mai Airport, meet your guide and driver, and transfer to your hotel. Please check in. Take some time to unwind. Travel by car to the Wiang Kum Kam, which is located in the vast plains of the country’s far north and is the largest area of flat land at the site of present-day Chiang Mai and Lamphun. Explore this revealing ancient city by horse carriage, which is thought to be the earliest historical settlement in the Chiang Mai area, founded by Mon settlers as a satellite town for the Haripoonchai kingdom. Excavated archaeological remains at the site, such as stone tablets with Mon inscriptions, pottery, earthenware molds, Buddhist sculpture and architecture, and other artifacts suggest that the area has had a long and continuous history of settlement dating back to the 8th century Haripoonchai era. Evening transfer to “Just Khao Soy” restaurant for dinner, where the signature dish of northern Thai cuisine ‘Khao Soy’ is served. After dinner, explore the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar before returning to the hotel via songtaew (local minibus). Spend the night in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai Eco Adventure - Kantoke Dinner (Elephant Riding/Rafting)

Activities:

Breakfast is served at your hotel. Today we embark on an eco-adventure. Depart hotels in a 4-WD Land Rover or similar vehicle for the hill tribe museum at Mae Rim. Then proceed to Mae Tang for a 1-hour elephant safari through the forest, including oxcart rides and Lunch at a picnic. After lunch, take an inflatable raft down the white and scenic Mae Tang River for about 45 minutes. Continue to Baan Huai Rai, passing through several villages before arriving back at your hotel. Transfer to Old Chiang Mai Khantoke Dinner, a traditional Thai dinner with a presentation of northern Thai dances, followed by a performance of hill tribe dances and songs. Return to your hotel for lodging. Spend the night in Chiang Mai.

Activities:

Early morning awakening and food offering to the monks. Return to the hotel for breakfast. The most important landmark in Chiang Mai is perched on top of a mountain overlooking the city. The temple, which was built in the 13th century, contains a golden pagoda that houses a portion of Lord Buddha’s holy relics. Visit Chiang Mai’s other famous temples as well. Lunch and dinner are both included. Spend the night in Chiang Mai.
