Breakfast at the hotel, then we begin a full-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi Tunnels. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy and then visit the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975, explore the French colonial structures of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, the Jade Emperor Pagoda, and the War Remnant Museum, continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market the largest market in southern Vietnam.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Saigon, then head to the Cu Chi Tunnels to discover an underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during their long struggle for independence. Return to Saigon. This evening, stroll through the outdoor night market of Ben Thanh for unique souvenirs and street food.

After breakfast, we leave Nha Trang for Danang/Hoi An by a 50-minute flight, upon arrival at Danang airport, transfer you to your lovely hotel in Hoi An, a UNESCO-listed site. This afternoon, take a walking tour of Hoi An’s old town, including visiting the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, and the vibrant market. On the walking tour, you will see many low-tiled houses scattered along the small streets and have a chance to tailor-made clothes in a flash.

After breakfast, our tour starts on the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village and along country lanes viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields, peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges and fields of water buffalo…Take a short break with a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying a 30-45-minute ride on a Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the Water Coconut Palm Forest to learn how to sail the basketboat and spend your time catching fish and “purple crabs” in the canal.
Continue to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetables are produced for the local community, at the village, you will be shown environmentally sustainable practices that the local villagers have used for centuries, enjoy a Cooking Class, and have lunch with a local family. Afterward, leave Hoi An for Hue, a UNESCO-listed site, on the way we stop to see the main sights of Danang, including Cham Museum and Marble Mountain, as well as Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach in Hue. Arrive in the center of Hue, check-in at the hotel and relax.

Hue is an ancient historical capital city. There are more than 100 architectural works reflecting the life of emperors and mandarins under Nguyen’s reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the southern bank of the Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings.
After breakfast at the hotel, you are transferred to the wharf to cruise along the Perfume River to visit: Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady Pagoda) with a good view of the Perfume River and its surroundings, after that, we explore Tu Duc King’s tomb, one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty, we transfer back to the city for our lunch at a fine local restaurant. After your breakfast at the hotel, we start our Hanoi city tour, firstly we visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex with its Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and one pillar pagoda. Next, we visit nearby West Lake, Quan Thanh Temple, and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Afterward, we see the Temple of Literature, originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is also Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070, the temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, the Museum of Ethnology, widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minorities. Then enjoy a memorable one-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets to see the real life of the Hanoi locals and the different parts of the city, have your cameras ready! this bustling area of narrow streets is home to thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers, originally, the 36 street names were related to the products being sold there, we also have a chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show to hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and songs from the live musicians who play throughout the show before enjoy our dinner until escort you to Hanoi Railway Station to catch our night train to Sapa.

This morning, arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station around 6 am, the local tour guide and driver will pick up and transfer you to the hotel in Sapa town to check in and have breakfast. Relax until having lunch, then take a trekking tour to Cat Cat and Sin Chai ethnic villages to see the H’Mong people, including their weaving and dyeing cloth, also view the paddy fields and the animals of the local H’Mong people such as chickens, water buffaloes, and pot-bellied pigs…, we also see the old hydroelectric power station which was built by the French until return to the hotel. In the evening, you can explore the Sapa Love Market situated near your hotel.

After breakfast, you start our trekking tour to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai ethnic villages through the valley of Muong Hoa to learn about the Black H’mong people who are one of the largest minority groups in the Sapa area, they are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living, the locals have their language and still wear traditional indigo-blue clothing.
Then continue to Ta Van village to visit the Zay people who are a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people, living mainly in the mountains in northwestern Vietnam, some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue, or green color, the Zay houses are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. In the late afternoon, transfer back to Lao Cai Railway Station to have dinner before catching a night train back to Hanoi.
