Upon your arrival at Hanoi International Airport, you are picked up and transferred to your hotel in the center of Hanoi to check-in. If time permits, have a welcome dinner in a local restaurant. After your breakfast at the hotel, we start our Hanoi city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda, West Lake area, Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, keep going to see the Temple of Literature, originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070, the temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.
We have lunch in the traditional local restaurant in the center of Hanoi before continuing our trip by visiting Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hoa Lo Prison, and seeing the unique Water Puppet Show before transferring you back to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin a full-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi Tunnels. We pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy and then visit the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975, explore the French colonial structures of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, the Jade Emperor Pagoda, and the War Remnant Museum, continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market the largest market in southern Vietnam.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Saigon, then head to the Cu Chi Tunnels to discover an underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during their long struggle for independence. Return to Saigon hotel around 5:30 PM for free time. This evening, stroll through the outdoor night market of Ben Thanh for unique souvenirs and street food.
