Hanoi Cycling - Catch a Night Train to Hue ( +- 60 km )

Duong Lam Village

Activities:

Meet at your hotel in Hanoi and drive out of the city center along the Red River’s bank, through farms and fruit plantations on the old riverside in Hanoi’s northwestern outskirts, visit temples, and practice the Buddhist lifestyle. Continue cycling to see rice noodle making in a local family and a silk farm… Boat trip across the river, cycling to Son Tay for lunch, after visiting Duong Lam village by bicycle, return to Hanoi to catch a night train to Hue. Free time for dinner.

Highlights:

Hue Imperial City

Activities:

Pick up and transfer from the train station to the hotel in the morning. Then, cycling through Hue’s King Royal Palace, a Nguyen Dynasty succession. Afternoon cycling to the countryside until 5 p.m., then transfer back to the city. Dinner at the garden house.

Hue to Hoi An (+- 70km Asphalt Road )

Highlights:

Vinh Hien Beach, Lang Co Lagoon

Activities:

Cycling back road of country side from Hue to Vinh Hai beach (+-70 km flat asphalt road). Optional climb: Hai van pass: 19 km (9km up, 10 km down, altitude +- 400m). Our route passes by rural villages and the picturesque Lang Co lagoon, an ascent of the pass with stunning views of the coast, and a thrilling 5-mile descent from the top of the green rice fields around Da Nang. End of cycling in Da Nang city, drive 32 km to Hoi An.
