After being met at the airport by a DH Travel tour guide, you will be transferred to Hanoi for check-in, recovery, welcome dinner.

At around 8 am after your breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide and driver will pick you up and we start our full-day trip to visit the rest main sites of Hanoi such as Ho Chi Minh Complex with Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda, West Lake area, Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education. We have lunch in the traditional restaurant in the center of Hanoi before continuing our trip in Hanoi by visiting Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Hoa Lo Prison, seeing the Water Puppet Unique show, then enjoy our dinner until escort you to Hanoi Railway Station to catch our night train to Sapa.

08:00 – 08:30: Pick-up at hotel and start the 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Halong Bay. 12:30 – 13:00: Embark on Cruise Ship followed by cruise briefing. 13:00 – 15:30: Savor a delectable lunch as cruise further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay. 15:30 – 16:30: You are free to choose one of the options:
Option 1: Fishing village visit. Who is interested in local daily life: Take a bamboo rowing boat trip (around 45 minutes) around Vung Vieng fishing village – one of the largest fishing villages in Halong Bay to see the life of local fishermen. The village is set in a closed lagoon, surrounded by mountains, an excellent setting for some good photos.
Option 2: Beach and kayaking. For those who like some water activities and beach. The tender shall take you to Ban Chan beach, where you can enjoy yourself on the beach, swimming or playing volleyball…, or try your hands at some kayaking in the magnificent setting of Halong Bay.16:30 – 17:30: Return to Calypso Cruiser and have a bath then relax as the sun starts to set. 17:30-19:00: Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar and on the sun deck and take part in our cooking class with Calypso Cruiser Chef. 19:00: Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, do night squid fishing or just laze around. Singing and dancing activities are available till 22h00.

06:30 – 07:00: Start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck. 07:00 – 08:00: Have breakfast at sunrise. 08:30 – 10:30: Picked up by day boat and cruise forward Lan Ha Bay. 10:30 – 12:00: Kayaking at Dark and Light Cave. 12:00- 13:00: Have lunch. 13:00 – 15:00: Cruise to Three Peaches Beach, relaxing, kayaking, and swimming. 15:00 – 17:30: Return to mother boat.

09:00: Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a morning view of the seascapes while cruising toward Thien Canh Son Cave. 09:00 – 09:30 a.m.: Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, a medium-sized and less-frequently visited cave in the Bai Tu Long area. 09:30 – 10:00: Check-out area Luggage can be delivered to the reception area. 10:00 – 11:00: Return to the Harbor. On board, have an early lunch. Disembark the Calypso Cruiser around 12:00 p.m. 12:00 – 15:00: Transfer to Hanoi International Airport for a short flight to Danang/Hoi An. When you arrive in Hoi An, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

After breakfast, a short bicycle competency test will be given. For those uncomfortable with a pushbike, then other methods of transport can be arranged. The tour starts by cycling along level ground to the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village. Ride along country lanes viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges and fields of water buffalo…Take a short break with a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying a 30-45 minutes ride on a Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the Water Coconut Palm Forest. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time catching fish and “purple crabs” in the canal. Continue biking to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetables are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries.  Have lunch with a local family. Afterward, transfer you to the old town of Hoi An to enjoy our walking tour in this famous town by visiting the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, and the vibrant market. We walk to visit these sites by pasting many low-tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls which reflect the town’s multi-cultural past. Overnight in Hoi An.

Hue is an ancient historical capital city. There are more than 100 architectural works reflecting the life of emperors and mandarins under Nguyen’s reign. Situated in the middle of hills on the southern bank of the Perfume River are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings. Pickup at  08:00 AM in the lobby of the hotel. Transfer to the wharf to cruise along the Perfume River to visit: Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady Pagoda) with a good view of the Perfume River and its surroundings. Then, we travel to explore Tu Duc King’s tomb, one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. Transfer back to the city to lunch at a fine local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Hue Imperial and Forbidden City, Garden House, and Dong Ba market. The tour ends around 06:00 PM. Transfer to hotel in Hue.

After breakfast, we take a short flight from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. PM: We take a half-day city tour here, visiting some of the city’s major attractions. We go to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of South Vietnam’s President until the end of April 1975, as well as some French colonial structures like the Notre Dame Cathedral. After visiting the War Remnant Museum, we proceed to the bustling Ben Thanh Market, where anything and everything is for sale.

8 AM Pick up in hotel lobby. Mekong Delta boat trip to My Tho and Ben Tre, famous for small wooden boats, sweet candy, and local folk songs. The tour ends at 5P with drop-off at your hotel in Saigon.

Free time until our driver picks you up and transfers you to the airport to catch a short flight to Phu Quoc Island, which includes one of Vietnam’s most beautiful beaches. Upon arrival at Phu Quoc airport, pick up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. You can relax on the beach during your downtime.
