Activities:

Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City or still called Saigon, look for a greeting board with your name, and our tour guide will escort and transfer you to your hotel in the city center. Today, if time permits, you will have a welcome meeting with the salesperson who contacted you directly via email to go over any questions or changes to your itinerary…and IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS, PLEASE ASK HIM/HER THAT DAY…, followed by dinner at a traditional local restaurant in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2:

Saigon City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon

Activities:

Breakfast at the hotel. 8 AM pickup to begin a full-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi Tunnels. Pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy and then visit the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975. Notice the French colonial structures such as Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, and the War Remnant Museum, and continue to the bustling Ben Thanh Market.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Saigon and then explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during their long struggle for independence. Return to Saigon hotel around 5:30 PM for free time. This evening, stroll through the outdoor night market of Ben Thanh for unique souvenirs and street food.

Saigon – Mekong Delta Full Day Boat Trip - Saigon

Nha Trang Islands & Snorkeling Tour

Activities:

After breakfast,  depart for Cau Da port around 8 AM.  The first stop is Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island, where many sea species from Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province create a miniature ocean world. Then stop at Mun Island, a great island for snorkeling because of the abundance of colorful coral and fish. You can even see caves where sea swallows build their nests. Then relax, swim, and participate in watersports or other activities at Mot Island, Tranh beach, or what is still known as “Mini Beach.” Enjoy lunch on the island. Before returning to your hotel, you will stop in a fishing village.

Nha Trang – Fly to Danang/Hoi An – Hoi An Walking Tour

Activities:

After breakfast, we leave Nha Trang for Danang/Hoi An by a 50min flight, upon arrival at Danang airport, transfer you to your lovely hotel in Hoi An. This afternoon, take a walking tour of Hoi An’s old town, including visiting the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, and the vibrant market. On the walking tour, you will see many low-tiled houses scattered along the small streets.

Hoi An Local Tour by Cycling – Boat – Fishing & Cooking Class – Danang Tour - Hue

Activities:

After breakfast, a short bicycle competency test will be given. For those uncomfortable with a pushbike, then other methods of transport can be arranged. The tour starts by cycling along level ground to the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village.

Ride along country lanes viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges and fields of water buffalo…Take a short break with a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying a 30-45 minutes ride on a Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the Water Coconut Palm Forest. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time catching fish and “purple crabs” in the canal. Continue biking to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetables are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries.  Have lunch with a local family. Afterward, leave Hoi An for Hue, stopping along the way to see the main sights of Danang, including Cham Museum and Marble Mountain. Arrive in Hue and check into the hotel.

Hue – Fly to Hanoi – Tour – Catch a night train to Sapa

Activities:

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up and take you to the airport to catch a short flight to Hanoi. Pick up and transfer to Hanoi to check into our hotel upon arrival. We go to the Temple of Literature in the afternoon. This is the site of Vietnam’s first university, which was founded in 1070 as a Confucius temple. The temple emphasizes the value that Vietnamese society placed on education both then and now, and we then visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, the Museum of Ethnology, which is widely regarded as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority peoples. Then, we see the Water Puppet Unique show, then enjoy our dinner until escort you to Hanoi Railway Station to catch our night train to Sapa.

Arrival to Sapa –Trekking to Wildlife Ethnic Villages

Activities:

Around 5.00 a.m., the train arrives in Lao Cai. Meet and transfer to Sapa (38km), a former French hill station at a height of 1.600 m above sea level. Check into a hotel and unwind. After lunch, at 1:00 pm, our tour guide will begin trekking uphill to Y Linh Ho Village and Muong Hoa Valley, passing through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn about the lives of the hill tribes. Communication exchange with Lao Chai village residents. Following a picnic lunch carried by the tour guide, continue trekking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village, which is home to Dzay ethnic minorities. Trekking distance: 8 kilometers.

Sapa - Bac Ha Ethnic Market Trekking - Catch a night train back Hanoi

Activities:

We leave the hotel after breakfast and drive to Bac Ha Market. We drive for three hours to get there. This is the region’s largest market, where many ethnic groups come to buy and sell, eat and drink together. The Bac Ha region is home to ten different minority groups. You can purchase handmade handicrafts and clothing. We will trek for two hours to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people) in the afternoon. We can visit their home in the village and learn more about their way of life and traditional customs. We can especially try homemade corn wine. Then we’ll take you to Lao Cai Railway Station for dinner before catching a night train back.

Arrival Hanoi – Halong Bay – Cruise & Overnight on a 5-star cruise ship

At around 5 AM, the train arrives at Hanoi Railway Station. The tour guide will escort you to the hotel to relax before breakfast. 8 AM – 8:30 AM our driver will pick up and start the 3.5 hours drive to Halong Bay, 12h00 – 12h30 Embark on Oriental Sails followed by cruise briefing, 13h00 – 15h30 Savor a delectable lunch on cruises along the limestone islands of Fighting Cock and Turtle Island, 15h30 – 17h30 Visit Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave and kayak along the hidden parts of the bay, 17h30 – 19h00 Go swimming, snap photos, or relax as the sun starts to set, 7 PM dinner is served.
