After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a full-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City and the Cu Chi Tunnels. Firstly, we pass by the now-demolished wartime American Embassy and then visit the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 1975, explore the French colonial structures of Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office, visit the War Remnant Museum and the bustling Ben Thanh Market the largest market in southern Vietnam.
Lunch at a local restaurant in Saigon before discovering the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during their long struggle for independence. Return to your hotel around 5:30 PM for free time. You are suggested to stroll through the outdoor night market for unique souvenirs and street food this evening.

After breakfast, our tour starts on the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village and along country lanes viewing local life and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields, peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges and fields of water buffalo…Take a short break with a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying a 30-45-minute ride on a Traditional Basket Boat (round boat) in the Water Coconut Palm Forest to learn how to sail the basketboat and spend your time catching fish and “purple crabs” in the canal.
Continue to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetables are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown environmentally sustainable practices which the local villagers have used for centuries. Enjoy a Cooking Class and have lunch with a local family. Afterward, leave Hoi An for Hue, a UNESCO-listed site, on the way we stop to see the main sights of Danang, including Cham Museum and Marble Mountain, as well as Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach in Hue. Arrive in the center of Hue, check-in at the hotel and relax.

Then, visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, the Museum of Ethnology, which is widely regarded as the best in the country with its extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority peoples, we see the Water Puppet Unique show and enjoy dinner before escorting you to Hanoi Railway Station to catch a night train to Sapa.

The train arrives at Lao Cai Railway Station at about 5 AM, you are met and transferred to your hotel in Sapa town (38km), a former French hill station at a height of 1.600 m above sea level, check into a hotel and relax until having breakfast and start our trekking tour to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai ethnic villages through rice-terraced fields and the valley of Muong Hoa to learn about the Black H’mong people who are one of the largest minority groups in the Sapa area, they are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living, the locals have their language and still wear traditional indigo-blue clothing.
Then continue to Ta Van village to visit the Zay people who are a small minority group of about 38.000 people, living mainly in the mountains in northwestern Vietnam, some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with purple, blue, or green color, and their houses are still built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. Transfer you back to your hotel in Sapa town for overnight or overnight at homestay with the local family in the village upon your request.

After that, we trek for two hours to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people) where we visit their home village to learn more about their way of life as well as traditional customs, here we can try homemade corn wine…Following take you back to Lao Cai Railway Station for dinner before catching a night train back to Hanoi.
