Day 1: Yangon Arrival – Pick up & Check in hotel – Tour (D)

City Hall is a traditional tiered roof and has many Burmese details and elements around the pillars

Upon arrival at the airport in Yangon, you are met and escorted to hotel for check in. In the afternoon, our guided tour will take you to Shwedagon Pagoda, Myanmar’s holiest site that dominates the Yangon skyline with its terrified golden flash and diamond-covered spires.
A leisurely walk from Sule Pagoda to British colonial buildings such as City Hall, Emmanuel Church, and Strand Hotel will take you through Yangon’s most historical district. Join us for a welcome dinner and a spectacular cultural show.

Day 2: Yagon – Kalaw – Nan The Le Te (B)
We fly from Yangon to Kalaw, and upon arrival at Heho airport, you will be picked up from this hotel or another hotel in Kalaw to begin your trekking adventure.
Set out on foot for the village of Nan The Le Te. Along the way, you’ll see men plowing rice fields with oxen and women planting.
Our guide will serve a picnic lunch before we finish our trail by mingling with the local Pa-O tribe for a cozy homestay.
The encounter with locals and children in their natural habitat is the highlight of the day. You are invited to assist them with their farm work.

Day 3: Trekking to Htee Thein (B)
Rise early to observe how the Pa-O ethnic minority begins their day before the beginning the trek to Knon Hla. The landscapes become more dramatic as you walk further.
As you travel east to Htee Thein village, a panoramic view of the Shah mountain range appears in your camera lens.
You will see Pa-O and Pauk Tu people today.

Day 4: Trekking to Inle Lake (B)

Getting up early for your lovely stroll to Indein. We will stop for Inle vista photos once you reach the lake. Indein is home to a one-of-a-kind market that takes place on the water. You will be able to see various minorities dressed in their traditional attire and witness how they trade on boats. Our boatman is waiting to take you to your hotel or resort in Inle Lake.

Day 5: Inle Lake – Indein – Inle Lake (B)

Today, we’ll take a scenic boat ride to Indein, home to the Pa-O tribes and unique Indein market. In the morning, you may see Pa-O and Pa-daung people dressed in traditional attire walking to the market.
As you progress deeper into the market, you will notice the basic trading activities in various corners: fish, flowers, vegetables, foods, and so on.
After that, go for a walk off the beaten path to see Indein ruin temples. The number of pagodas and their architecture will astound you.
Continue to visit the locals with their floating gardens.

Day 6: Inle Lake Trekking (B)
Our boatman will be waiting to take you to Nyang Shwe town, where your trek will begin. The panoramic view of Inle and local life is the highlight of this trek.
We’ll walk through villages, pagodas, and sunflower fields.
A picnic lunch will be served in a local home, with intimate interaction with village life.
Return to your resort from the lakeside picking point.

Day 7: Inle Lake – Yangon departure (B)
Rest at your leisure or visit Nam Pan village with its famous Jumping Cat pagoda before flying back to Yangon from Heho airport. You will be met at the airport to connect with your flight back to your home country or to your next trekking tour in Vietnam, which will be supported by our Vietnam partner, Active Travel Vietnam.
