Royal Palace Museum ▸ Wat Xiengthong ▸ Wat Visoun ▸ Wat Aham ▸ Mount Phousi
Upon arrival at the airport in Luang Prabang, our tour guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel to check in and relax before we begin to visit some of the famous highlights of Luang Prabang, including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which houses a variety of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang.
We continued cycling past the city’s oldest temples, including the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, whose roof sweeps low to the ground and represents classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, and the shrine of Wat Aham, then we’ll ascend Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and take in the panoramic view of the city and the setting sun over the Mekong River.
This evening, you visit the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a good selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts made by ethnic Lao and hill-tribe people from the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and tour guide will pick you up around and we will board our private boat for a pleasant and scenic cruise up the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves an ancient pilgrimage site with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there for hundreds of years.
Then, we disembark our boat in Luang Prabang to take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving, or return to the hotel for free time to relax upon your request. Your evening is free to explore on foot or by bicycle, indulge in a spa treatment or massage, or simply relax by the river.
