Angkor Complex overview

Angkor Complex, also known as the Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia, is a sprawling complex of ancient temples and monuments.

With its magnificent relics and religious structures from the Khmer Empire, which flourished from the 9th to the 15th centuries, UNESCO has designated this unique site as a world heritage site. Among the hundreds of temples that have survived to this day, Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Ta Prohm are the main draws that bring tourists to Siem Reap.

Best time to visit Angkor Complex

Because the weather is pretty hot all year, it is fine to visit these special areas at any time of year, but the best time to visit is from November to March when the temperature ranges from 24 to 26 degrees Celsius.

How to travel to Angkor Complex?

The Angkor Temple Complex is only about 4 kilometers from the center of Siem Reap town, so it is easy to get there by taxi, private car transfer, tuk-tuk (one of the Cambodian transport vehicles), motorbike by yourself or with a driver, or even cycling because the roads are all well in this area.
