Buddha Park is a famous sculpture park with more than 200 religious statues including a huge 40-metre high reclining Buddha image.

It was built in 1958 by Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat, a monk who studied both Buddhism and Hinduism.

Buddha Park is located in Xieng Kuan, about 25 kilometers from Vientiane, Laos. Buddha Park is also located near the Mekong River, and you will be surprised by the peaceful scenery here, with one side being a garden, forest, and spring, and the other side being a large Mekong River.

Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat (1932-1996) built Buddha Park in 1958, and there are over 200 religious statues and other Hindu statues.
