You are picked up at the airport or in your hotel for a welcome lunch. In the afternoon, we will go to Angkor Wat complex by tuk-tuk, the local transport to explore this largest and most impressive temple, this is also the most well-preserved of the temple with its layout and scale of the enclosure is breathtaking, the wall surrounding the enclosure measures 1,000 by 800 meters, and the moat, which is said to represent the world’s oceans, is 200 meters wide.
Then, we’ll ride elephants to the hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng, climb the imposing remains, and join the crowd for a truly unforgettable sunset.

Ta Prohm ▸ Angkor Thom ▸ Elephant Terrace ▸ Terrace of The Leper King ▸ Pre Rup ▸ Banteay Kdei
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll ride our bikes to the temple complex to visit Ta Prohm, a jungle temple, that has been largely consumed by the jungle, here you can climb through the crumbling stone structures, you will view many giant trees growing out of the temple’s roof, at every turn, Indiana Jones or Lara Croft will appear from behind a fallen pillar, Ta Prohm resembles many of the monuments when European explorers first saw them.
Following that, we will continue biking through the Victory Gate to the royal city of Angkor Thom to see the Elephant Terrace and the Leper King Terrace, the Bayon, a pyramid temple with about 200 massive carved heads. After that, we’ll have lunch at one of the local restaurants near the temple before continuing biking along the “grand circuit” to see more Angkor Era temples like Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Pre Rup, and Banteay Kdei.

After breakfast, we will cycle to Angkor and then 20 kilometers north of the main group of temples, through the countryside, to the magnificent Banteay Srei temple – the Citadel of Women, which is decorated with superbly intricate reliefs of male and female divinities, we’ll be cycling through the picturesque countryside and passing through a few small villages along the way, it is a pleasant way to learn about how locals go about their daily lives, you will see many villagers at work in the rice paddies and palm sugar plantations, making this a worthwhile cultural experience.
We’ll have a picnic lunch near the Siem Reap River in a quiet and relaxing setting, we’ll stop at the Cambodian Landmine Museum on the way back.

After breakfast, we’ll take some small country roads west of Siem Reap, toward Puok village before arriving at the Sangkheum Center for Children, an NGO that provides a home for orphaned, abused, or neglected children, as well as general education and selected vocational training, we will cycle through the countryside and villages to visit the center and learn more about their work and to see the children in training in the workshops, on the farm, or performing dance and music.
Following that, we’ll visit the Western Baray, an ancient reservoir more than 2 kilometers across and 9 kilometers long, with an average depth of 7 meters, the ruins of the western Mebon temple can be found on an island in the middle of the Baray, this man-made lake is now a recreational area for locals who come here on weekends.
We’ll have lunch here and then spend the afternoon swimming and tubing or taking a boat trip to the island to see the western Mebon ruins. On the way back, we will stop in the small village of Banteay Chreu to visit the popular Buddhist temple Svay Romeat from which we can see the entire countryside, the Western Baray, and the airport.
Then we’ll ride along a quiet road past Angkor Wat before returning to the hotel for a rest before our buffet dinner with a traditional Khmer dancing show at the local restaurant in Siem Reap town.

Tonle Sap Lake ~ 30 km Cycling

After breakfast, we will cycle along the Tonle Sap River to a rural village and take a short oxcart ride through the countryside, then we’ll cycle to Tonle Sap, Southeast Asia’s largest fresh lake to take a two-hour boat ride through the floating villages to see how the locals go about their daily lives, stop along the way to see a bird garden, a fishing farm, and a floating school that during the wet season, a relaxing swim in this massive freshwater reservoir is a pleasant experience.
We will stop on the way back at the Krou Sa Richreay orphanage, which means “Happy Family,” to bring them some necessities, and then return to the hotel for check-out before having lunch in town. Afternoon free to explore Siem Reap on your own before transferring to the airport or bus station to head to your next destination.
