Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Siem Reap, Cambodia arrival – Angkor Wat Tour if time permits or move the next day

Angkor Wat—Impressed by the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by our local guide at the airport and then escorted to the hotel.
After check-in and a short rest, if the time permits or this site will be moved the next day, your private guide will escort you to discover the world’s wonder site—Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in the 12th century and it is the largest first Hindu, and Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious monument in the the the world.
On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup. This evening, we will enjoy a dinner with a traditional Apsara dance show at the local restaurant in Siem Reap town. Transfer you back hotel.

Day 2: Angkor Temple Complex Tour Full Day

After breakfast, the cool weather and less traffic are ideal for a Tuk Tuk ride to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, which was the Khmer Empire’s final and most enduring capital city. The tour in Angkor Thom begins at the South Gate and proceeds along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung, then to the Bayon temple, which is surrounded by 216 massive stone faces known as the “Angkor Smile.”
You will also see the Elephant Terrace, the Royal Palace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then, your driver will pick you up and you can enjoy air-conditioning and cold drinks inside your private car while transferring you to the Temple of Ta Prohm which is wildly known as “Lost to the Jungle Temple”. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk Boat Trip

In the morning, visit a half-day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake – Tonle Sap Lake. You will firstly enjoy a fun ox cart ride through the countryside, continue to have a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake view and mangrove forest on the lake, then spend the rest of the morning at the largest village on the lake which is called Kompong Phluk, to discover the fascinating daily lives of the local people who leave on the water. Day 5: Vientiane City Tour

Vientiane, the charming capital city of Laos with a rich heritage of Buddhist culture, is waiting for you to discover. The highlights of Vientiane will be visited during your full-day city tour to learn more about Laos’ history by visiting the National Museum, followed by a visit to Wat Sisaket, the oldest surviving temple with thousands of Buddhist images.
Then, we will visit the temple Wat Prakeo, which houses the famous Emerald Buddha image, astonished Indochina tour operators. Your full-day Vientiane city tour will also include stops at the symbolic That Luang Stupa and the Patuxay Monument. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 6: Vientiane – Fly to Luang Prabang

Day 7: Kuang Si Waterfalls – Luang Prabang City Tour

Luang Prabang, the city surrounded by the Mekong River and well known for its golden city is well known for its beautifully decorated Buddhist temples, it is a place that you will keep appearing in your mind for a long time after your Indochina tour.
Your memorable trip will begin with an alms ritual in the morning, where you will accept the blessing of the monks to whom you will give alms. After breakfast, begin the half-day excursion to Kuang Si Waterfalls, where you will enjoy the beautiful natural scenery, have fun in the waterfalls, and relax. Return to the town for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Xiengthong, a symbolic temple of classic Laotian architecture, and the Royal Palace Museum to learn about Laos’ history. Then go to the Wat Aham Temple, which means “Monastery of the Opened Heart,” and the Wat Visoun Stupa.

Day 8: Mekong River Crusie & Pak Ou Cave

Today, you will embark on the Luang Say boat for a 2-day cruise to Huay Xai, the small town located at the border of Laos and Thailand, you will proceed to Chiang Rai in Thailand from the border pass there. The boat will start at 7:00 am, you will enjoy a continental breakfast while cruising to the Pak Ou Village which is located at the mouth of the Nam Ou River. You will have a shore excursion to visit the Tam Thing Caves of Thousand Buddhas.
Lunch will be a buffet on board and the boat will keep cruising upstream the Mekong River to a hill tribe village where you can watch the traditional process of Lao whiskey production. Our boat will stop at Pak Beng around sunset and check in at Luang Say Lodge overnight. Dinner will be arranged on the Luang Say Lodge’s terrace restaurant with a view of the Mekong River.

Day 9: Cruising to Chiang Rai, Thailand

Enjoy breakfast at the Luang Say Lodge, then board the boat at 7:00 am and keep cruising toward the upper stream of the Mekong River. En route, you will stop to visit a local village to witness the rural life along the Mekong River and visit the Minority ethnic people.
Lunch will be a buffet served on board, and you will arrive at Huay Xai around 5:00 pm. Go through the board and you will be welcomed by your local guide on the Thailand side of the border, then escort you to your hotel in Chiang Rai.

Day 10: Chiang Rai City Tour Half-Day

After breakfast and check-out, we will drive to Opium House at the bend of the mighty Mekong River to see the scenery of three countries (Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos). Visit the ancient city of Chiang Saen, where the ruins of numerous temples, stupas, and Buddha images can still be seen, as well as artifacts and archaeological finds on display at the National Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant followed by a transfer back to your hotel in Chiang Rai. The rest of the day is yours to do as you, please.

Day 11: Golden Triangle Tour

The Golden Triangle is a mysterious region for most of the Indochina tour makes, today you will enjoy a full-day excursion to the heart of the Golden Triangle region. Your fascinating day will start in the morning by first visiting the Long Neck Karen village to see the Long Neck Hill tribe people who relocated from the Thai and Myanmar border. If it is possible, you will also be able to visit a Cock Fighting near the hill tribe village.
Keep driving to Mt. Doi Mae Salong and visit the Chinese village on the top of the mountain. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue the trip to the highest peak on the Thai-Myanmar border, Doi Tung which will provide an opportunity to view many different Lahu and Akha villages as well as terraced farming areas and see from a distance the Princess Mother’s frigid flower Garden, built in A.D.1493, is located at the peak, its scenery reminds one of Switzerland and features many unique images and temple architecture overlooking the entire northern rice field plain. Return to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 12: Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai – Charity School

Enjoy some relaxing time in the hotel until your tour guide picks you up from the hotel to drive to Chiang Mai. In the morning, we will drive around 2.5 hours to Chiang Mai. Before you arrive in Chiang Mai, you will stop to visit the White Temple which is a fascinating temple with amazing design and beautiful sculptures.
Before arriving in Chiang Mai, you will stop at a charity school called School For Life, which was co-founded by Berlin Free University, this is a children’s village that provides free education, housing, and medical care to children from low-income families, UNESCO is very pleased with it, here you will enjoy a cooking lesson with children to learn how to cook traditional Thai cuisine, lunch will be the food you prepare and share with the children.

Day 13: Elephant Safari Tour

A fun and memorable Indochina tour is not complete without the experience of an elephant. Today you will visit the Elephant Camp at Mae Taman Camp. You will see how the elephants work, and you will have a chance to ride the elephant across the river and through the forest for around 1 hour. Return by Ox Cart to the elephant village for lunch.
After Lunch, enjoy a bamboo rafting adventure along the river for about 45 minutes and visit an orchid farm after the bamboo rafting ride. After that, you will start sightseeing at Meow Hill Tribe Village where located on the Mountain Doi Pui and was once famous for opium cultivation.
Continue to visit the Temple Wat Doi Suthep where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Chiang Mai City, here is also one of the best places to enjoy the sunset.
