This is the panoramic tour of Indochina. The tour is designed for the travelers who have enough time to have an in-depth exploration in the five countries of South Asia: Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar (Burma).

On the 24-day trip, you will start your trip from Hanoi, two days leisure cruise on the famous Halong Bay, fly to Hoian to visit the historical Hoian Ancient Town and relax on the beautiful sandy beach, explore the colonial Saigon and boat ride to discover the Mekong River Delta. Then fly to Siem Reap, two days to discover the splendor of the Angkor Wat and the floating village at Tonle Lake. In Laos, you will have one-day city tour in Vientiane, then move on to Luang Prabang and visit to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls and swim in the crystal-clear waters. The following two days for your cruise from Laos to Thailand on the Mekong River. Afterwards, you will discover the mysterious golden triangle areas and visit the Long Neck Karen village in northern Thailand. Finally, end your trip at Yangon, the garden city and the main gateway to Myanmar to visit the awesome pagodas.

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour—Discover the capital city of Vietnam.

Day 3 Full Day Halong Bay Cruise

Day 4 Half Day Halong Bay Cruise, Flight to Hoian

Greeting by the morning sun rise from the sea horizon, you can join a Thai Chi lesson for some morning exercise before breakfast. Visit a limestone grotto in the morning and disembark around 11:00 am then transfer to airport for onward flight to Danang.

Upon arriving Danang, you will be pick up and transfer to hotel in Hoian (about 30 minutes drive). Check in hotel and overnight in Hoian.

SECOND DAY

Early birds can attend a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Start the day enjoying some Paradise delights with a colourful buffet breakfast. Continue exploring Halong Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. Your Paradise Cruise will come to an end on Tuan Chau Island between 10.30am and 11.00am.

 

Day 5 Full Day My Son Heritage, Hoian Ancient Town

My Son is the major site in Vietnam from the ancient Champa Kingdom which flourished between the 2nd and 15th centuries.

Visit the My SON Holy Land in the morning to discover the ruined temple which was built in the 4th century. When drive back to Hoian, visit the historical Hoian Ancient Town includes the colorful local market, the Tan Ky Old House, Fukien Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. You can also visit the local residents raisingsilkworms and producing silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

In the evening, the local people will hang up the red lanterns, it will give you the feeling of traveling back to ancient time.

 

Day 6 Hoian—Relax on the Beach!

Hoian is also famous for its beautiful sandy beach. Today you will relax to just enjoy sun shine and the beach.

If you want some fun activities today, we highly recommend you to join a fishing tour to experience being a local fishman, or go diving in Cham Island.

 

Day 7 Arrive in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Half Day City Tour

Day 8 Full Day My Tho (Bentre)—Discover Mekong Delta

Enjoy a full day tour from Saigon to My Tho to discover the Mekong River Delta, which is famed as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. You will take a private boat tour through the water coconut forest to center of Mekong Delta, enjoy abiking tour (about 1 hour) to discover the villages and a sampan trip through the narrow canals.

Transfer back to Saigon in the afternoon.

 

Day 9 Cu Chi Tunnels & Cooking Class

Day 10 Arrive in Siem Reap, Half Day Angkor Wat

Enjoy free time until transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by our local guide at the airport then escorts to hotel. After check in and a short rest, your private guide will escort you to discover the world’s wonder site—Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in 12thcentury and it is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temle complex and the largest religious monument in the world. Day 11 Full Day Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm Temple

After breakfast, the cool weather and less traffic is perfect for you to travel in a Tuk Tuk to visit the ancient cityAngkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. The tour in Angkor Thom will starts from the South Gate and walk along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung, then continue to the Bayon temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which fame as “smile of Angkor”.  You will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

When weather gets hot, your driver will pick you up and you can enjoy air-condition and cold drinks inside your private car while transferring you to Temple of Ta Prohm which is wildly known as “lost to the jungle temple”.

Day 12 Full Day Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk

Day 15 Flight to Luang Prabang

Today, you will embark on the Luang Say boat for a 2 days cruise to Huay Xai, the small town locates at the border of Laos and Thailand, you will proceed to Chiang Rai in Thailand from the border pass there.

The boat will start at 7:00am, you will enjoy a continental breakfast while cruising to the Pak Ou Village which locates at the mouth of the Nam Ou River. You will have a shore excursion to visit the Tam Thing Caves of Thousand Buddhas.

Go through the board and you will be welcomed by your local guide on the Thailand side of the border, then escorts you to your hotel in Chiang Rai.

Doi Tung is a mountain of the Thai highlands located in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand.

The golden triangle is a mysterious region for most of Indochina tour makes, today you will enjoy a full day excursion to the heart of golden triangle region.

Your fascinating day will start from morning by firstly visit the Long Neck Karen village to see the long neck hill tribe people who relocated from the Thai and Myanmar border. If it is possible, you will also able to visit a Cock Fightingnear the hill tribe village. Keep driving to Mt. Doi Mae Salong and visit the Chinese village on the top of the mountain.
