Bac Ninh is a long-established land with numerous distinct traditional cultures and natural environments, it is also Vietnam’s smallest province. Bac Ninh is well-known for its Love Duets of Bac Ninh, a popular folk music popular throughout Vietnam.

1. Do Temple, one of the most famous and largest in northern Vietnam
2. Phu Lang Ceramic Village, where you may buy everything made of ceramic.
3. Dong Ho is a painting town where you can still see entire families painting, from little children to senior individuals.

Lim festival is one of the most famous festivals in northern Vietnam, and by attending this festival, you will have a chance to meet tourists who come from many different cities throughout Vietnam such as Hue, Danang, Hoi An, Saigon, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, Yen Bai….they come here to participate in this festival, and there are many traditional games and folk songs of Vietnam to show at here, this festival is organized in three days from the 13th to the 15th of January.

Dinh Bang Communal House is very special and famous to all people who live around Hanoi and around this area because it was the most famous and ancient communal house in northern Vietnam in the past, and this place is the homeland of Ly Cong Uan (as Ly Thai To) who founded the Ly dynasty and Thang Long capital city in 1010.
6. But Thap Pagoda is also a very rare location since it has preserved the special architectural and carving art, and there are many valuable statues here. Dau pagoda and Phat Tich pagoda are two of the most well-known pagodas in Bac Ninh.
Best time to visit Bac Ninh
You can visit the city at any time of year, but the best time to visit this ancient land is in the early months of the new year because there are many famous festivals to be held here, particularly the Lim Festival, which is held from the 13th to the 15th of the lunar year.
How to travel to Bac Ninh?
Bac Ninh is only approximately 30 kilometers from the capital of Hanoi, making it easy to get there by bus, private car, motorbike, or bike. It takes around one or two days to explore all of the notable landmarks in this province, or if you choose to visit only one or two destinations in this city, a day or a half day will be enough.
