Means of transport

If travelling by motorbike, you ride along Highway 1 to Trung Luong junction, it is the gateway to the city of My Tho (Tien Giang).

Day 1: Saigon – Go Cong – My Tho (Tien Giang)

Arrived in Go Cong, you should visit the Royal Mausoleum cluster, one of the rare works in Western Vietnam with several hundreds years old. Built in 1826, the mausoleum is used to worship Pham Dang family, including Mr. Pham Dang Hung, who is the father of Empress Tu Du. My Tho is an important riverside market town on the banks of the Tien River.

About 15 km from Go Cong to the east is Tan Thanh beach. Here, you will experience catching clams or hunting crabs. In particular, enjoying the spotless delicious white clam, you will have an unforgettable meal.

In My Tho, you should not ignore Vinh Trang pagoda located on Nguyen Trung Truc Street in My An village, My Phong commune.
